ESL to produce four new esports series for Hulu
ESL is partnering with Hulu to produce four new series focusing on esports for the streaming video-on-demand service, ESL announced in a press release on Monday.
Notably, one of the four series will be a documentary called Bootcamp that focuses on Immortals' CS:GO team rebuilding their roster in advance of IEM Oakland, which will take place from Nov. 18-19. Immortals recently benched Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lecas "LUCAS1" Teles after they requested a transfer following Vita "kNgV-" Giuseppe departure from the team. Those moves follow the team's forfeiture of the first game of the Grand Finals at DreamHack Montreal 2017 after the three aforementioned players were late.
The other three series include Player V. Player, a "gamified debate show" where casters and esports personalities debate various topics; Defining Moments, a show exploring the most impactful moments in esports history; and ESL Replay, a documentary-style recap of memorable moments from four unspecified tournaments.
