Team VGJ.Storm replace Timado with Resolut1on
Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok has replaced Enzo "Timado" Gianoli on Team VGJ.Storm's Dota 2 roster.
"We’re of course excited that Roman will be joining the team. He’s a driven, relentless competitor who has proven himself at a highest levels time and again in different situations, and the upside is high," said VGJ's director Jack "KBBQ" Chen.
VGJ.Storm's next matches will be at ESL Birmingham qualifiers next week.
Sinatraa makes NBC Nightly News Appearance
The San Fransisco Shock's Jay "Sinatraa" Won appeared on the U.S. National Broadcasting Company (NBC) nightly news on Thursday night.
The segment discussed Sinatraa's debut with the team and gave viewers a brief overview of the Overwatch League.
The Shock are 1-2 so far in Stage 3.
Santorin joins FlyQuest: report
Lucas "Santorin" Larsen has signed with FlyQuest ahead of the 2018 NA LCS Summer Split, according to a report by ESPN's Jacob Wolf.
The report cites unnamed sources close to the team.
This move would be Santorin's return to America after spending time in the EU LCS with H2K.
Santorin won an NA LCS title with Team Solo Mid in 2015.
Looper retires to focus on studies
Former League of Legends world champion Jang "Looper" Hyeong-seok has retired from competitive play to focus on his studies.
Looper won a world championship as the top laner for Samsung White in 2014.
He most recently played in the NA LCS with Echo Fox.
Faker's base salary reportedly around $3 million: YellOw
Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok allegedly gets paid a base salary of around $3 million USD with room for incentives to make an additional $2 million more, according to an ex-pro Starcraft player.
Former StarCraft: Brood War pro Hong "YellOw" Jin-ho made an appearance on a Korean talk show, according to esports site Korizon. YellOw reportedly used his knowledge of Faker's salarto compare how much esports have grown since his time.
