T1 sign Anti and LarryLurr

T1 recently announced their presence in the Super Smash Bros. competitive scene by signing Smash Ultimate players and content creators Jason "ANTi" Bates and Larry "Larry Lurr" Holland.

As a top talent in the Smash 4 competitive scene, ANTi recently played under the Immortals banner.

On the other hand, LarryLurr competed for eLevate through 2016 and early 2017 before leaving for Misfits.

The T1 Smash Ultimate roster will compete in the Pound 2019 tournament this weekend in Laurel, Maryland.

Gen.G Esports raises $46 million from an investor pool that includes Will Smith

Gen.G Esports, owners of Overwatch League team Seoul Dynasty, have raised $46 million from a diverse portfolio of investors, one of which is Hollywood actor, Will Smith.

Outside the Seoul Dynasty, Gen.G also own the League of Legends team by the same name that competes on the Korean circuit.

While the terms of the deal were not made public, Gen.G has said that the funding will go towards creating a youth academy program, an open team HQ in LA and further expansion into other games and regions.
